Customer Question

After replacing the wiring for the sliding power door on a 2001 town and country, none of the power doors will work, the instrument panel wont light up, and it wont start. It turns over, but won't start.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the door switches?
Customer: not the door switch, I don't know what that is.
JA: Are you fixing your Town and Country yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: we replaced the wiring for the passenger side sliding door. It seemed simple just unplug the old and plug in the new. after replacing the wiring, none of the power doors would work and the van would not start. We disconnected the cables to the battery and replaced them after about three minutes. We also checked fuses.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are quite a few things that you could have going on and it's going to take some electrical testing to determine the cause. If the problems are all related it may be a front control module, integrated power module or ignition switch issue, but the problems may not be related.
