When it stalls. Turn off & re start no problem. but wife is scared to drive it PT 2005 turbo cruise 137kms. Thanks Dave.
JA: Is the check engine light on? Does the car stall at idle or when driving?
Customer: Light is now on. Stalling when starting up say on an incline or turning from laneway on to raod.
JA: What is the model/year of your Chrysler?
Customer: 2005 2.4 turbo convertible.
JA: What year is your Convertible?
Customer: 2005
JA: Are you fixing your Convertible yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No my mechanic has tried various things. replaced 2 o2 sensors, Pvc valve, gas filter, at least one plug & electrical sensors on tranny replaced $562.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Could it be a wire from the cam sensor shorting out?

Ok, what are the current fault code numbers?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.
I have no idea.

Ok, can you call your mechanic and find out? They will be Pxxxx codes - example - P0720

There are over 500 fault codes that can set the check engine light. Without knowing which ones are set, it would be a wild guess on anyone's part
