JA: Did you test the battery with a voltmeter? And have you ever changed one before?
Customer: its a hybrid, so no never changed that before
JA: What is the model/year of your Chrysler?
Customer: 2009 aspen
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: my husband has tried to jump it
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Jump starting instructions start on page 84. If jumping it does bring back the 12v electrical system then you either have a bad battery or there is something drawing current when the vehicle is at rest. The first step from there would be to remove the 12v battery and have it load tested. Most big chain parts stores will test the battery for free.
