How can you tell if your fuel pump on a 1999 Chrysler v6 isn't working?
JA: Has your car been stalling?
Customer: It hasn.t been running for about 1yr and 6 mo,replaced pcm,rebuilt one
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, checked fuses
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The pcm was ready to be put in car.

Hi Im David. to see if the fuel pump is working, turn the key to the on position(not start). listen closely to hear a faint humming in the rear it will only hum for a few seconds if the pump is working. if you cant hear it, have someone stick their ear on the fuel door to listen for it.
