I drove my 2006 chrysler sebring about 20 miles and it ran

Customer Question

I drove my 2006 chrysler sebring about 20 miles and it ran perfectly. I
stopped for about 1/2 hour to eat. When I tried to start it it would not crank. Could this be a starting relay problem? or worse? The car has 53000 miles on it. Also the convertible top
was down and it was dead too. The battery seemed ok as the lights could come on brightly.

Hello Luke, I'm Joshua. Lets see if I can help you with your problem. Does the car do anything when you try to start it, such as lights dimming, a clicking noise, anything?

Expert:  Joshua Davenport replied 11 months ago.

Also, does your vehicle have the 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine?

Ok, the first step would be checking all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood. If all these fuses check out then I'm afraid you may have a problem with ignition switch itself.
