I have a 2008 pacifica and just changed one of the tpms

Customer Question

hi. I have a 2008 pacifica and just changed one of the tpms sensors. After driving for 25 minutes on the highway the light stays on and the system shows that the sensor is not detected.
JA: Have you checked your tire pressure? Do you have a tire gauge?
Customer: yes. I have and also have a Bartec 400sd
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have the TPMS tool but can't do a stationery relearn
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The new sensor is an OE type so it is a match for the vehicle

IS your TPS tool giving you the option to program the number from the new sensor into the system?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The tpms system has a sense by location along with a yellow light. The yellow light is solid and the sense by location only shows 3 tires with pressure.. The new replaced sensor location is blank.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. I do not have that option.

Thanks your going to have to have a scan tool that can pair the new sensor ID with the TPMS control module. Most tire shops will do this for 10-20.00
