Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

P1684 was set by disconnecting the battery and P0456 is a small leak in the evaporative emissions system.

The evap system stores fuel vapor from the tank and allows them to be drawn into the engine. The leak may be anywhere in the system including the cap and filler neck, the tank itself, the vapor canister, purge solenoid, vent valve, the purge solenoid, or it could be a leak in one of the system's lines. The most common causes for a leak code on one of these would be the cap or a cracked hose near the canister or the short coupler hose in the purge line near the air filter box.
