are the fans coming on ?

the BIGGEST failure on the PT is fan motors, and this will definitely cause it to overheat at a stop light AND cause the a/c not to work well at lights BUT work OK while driving

A.C works ok when cars moving but not at idle. Would this be fan motel or possibly relays?

Over heats and a goes warm at red lights

fan motors are VERY VERY VERY common to fail, the motor is only serviced as an assembly WITH relays, this is because when the motor fails it usually kills a relay so chrysler wants the entire assembly replaced
