Customer Question

2003 T&C. Unlocked car with key. Started car and the headlights/parking lights started flashing in succession. Will not turn off, even when ignition turned off. The only way I could get this to stop is to disconnect a battery terminal. Any idea what went wrong?
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Have you checked the bulbs?
Customer: What fuse could cause the panic lights to continually flash? I tried pulling one fuse at a time but none of them affected this flashing.
JA: What is the model of your '03 Chrysler?
Customer: LX
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have only tried pulling fuses. That's all.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: NO
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Chrysler Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The lights will flash along with the horn honking if the factory alarm goes off but starting the engine or pressing the unlock button on the key fob would disarm it. I suspect you may have a front control module issue.

Are there any modifications such as an aftermarket remote start or alarm?
Does the horn honk when the lights flash?
