Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are quite a few things that could be going on. I'm assuming your remote start is factory, in which case it can be disabled due to a failure. If the starter doesn't engage when trying to start it manually and factory remote start doesn't work then I would first suspect the powertrain control module isn't awake.

Have you checked fuses?
Does the fuel pump run when the key is turned on?
Did the problem start after a jump start, repair, etc?
