mopar front wheel drive with 2.2 engine and new process a523 transmission ,locked up in rev. disconnected cables from shift level but still cannot get it out of rev gear, WHAT NEXT?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If you're unable to move the shifter then the problem is either internal in the transmission, something foreign physically blocking movement, the cables, or possibly an issue in the shifter. If you've removed the cables at the shifter then you would have seen anything foreign in the way there.

Did you try moving the arms on the trans itself to see if one or both would not move by hand with the cables removed?
