2008 Chrysler Aspen. 5.7L. All warning lights come on, tach

Customer Question

2008 Chrysler Aspen. 5.7L. All warning lights come on, tach and speedometer quit, all at same time. Engine keeps running air still works. Turn signals will not work. As you keep driving the warning lights go out speedometer and tach start working. Everything is back to normal. If you stop the engine while eveything is screwey it will not start. The starter will not engage. I have checked for loose connections. I am an electronics tech by trade but I do not know these newer cars. The first thing I thought of was maybe a bad ignition switch. These newer cars probably don't have one of these on the steering colum
