A/C problem. In cooler weather, works perfectly, but

Customer Question

A/C problem. In cooler weather, works perfectly, but Intermittently, it starts blowing warm air if it is is really hot outside. If I park the car in the shade, or let it sit with cool weather, it works fine again. (always is working when I bring it to mechanic) Best theory I got is that in the sensor/relay part, it get warm, expands, and disables the hoosiemajeegie, turning off cool air. Then, when car cools down, it contracts and works fine. am I close?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The symptoms do make low charge a very likely cause for what you're having.

Has charge been checked?
Does it only blow warm while sitting still or at low speeds, but blows cold at higher speeds?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
charge was checked, while it was working fine. No, when the A/C is out, it blows warm at all (or no) speeds

Is the compressor not engaged when it doesn't blow cold?
