JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I have taken the door panel off. I have not removed all of the bolts to remove electronics. Other models did not require this. The glass is in front of two nbolts up or down.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

.
I assume you are meaning the Outside Door Handle
You need to use 1/4 inch drive & / or wrench to get to the Nuts
Window UP
It is a little arm bending, but you should be able to get your arm in there
Here is Factory Service Manual procedures

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
are you saying there is a bolt inside I can turn to raise thenwindow enough to be able to reach the bollts? Where is it located
Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 1 year ago.

no...I never posted that.....
Roll Window all the way up & you should be able to insert your arm around to the Nuts on the Handle
.
You can remove the Glass, but I have never had to do that:

1.Remove door trim panel.
2.Connect power window switch and lower window to approximately mid position. The lift plate glass retention clamps will align with holes in the inner door panel.
3.On convertibles, remove the rear mounting bolt and loosen the front retaining nut.
4.Remove glass from channel.
5.Raise glass upward and out of the opening at top of door.

Is there a picture of those bolts? Once the glass is removed will I have access to the handle bolts? I could see two of them but not the front bolt
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I will try it without removing the glass. Can I get a rachet and socket wrench in there or a regular wrench
Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 1 year ago.

nuts......not bolts.......

I posted a diagram.......did you not see the Attachment I posted?

Expert:  Don 'Mo Lurch' replied 1 year ago.

IF I remember correctly, they are 10mm.......I use a small wrench

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I looked again at the handle. They are self tapping bolts going into the handle. They are not nuts and there are no bolts on the new handle only holes for self tapping screws. I do not see on the diagram how to reach the front bolt.

I finally was able to open the file. With the window in the up position the bolts are still covered by the glass. I maneuvered around it but can't get the front bolt out. What other options are there? Do I need to remove the window? If yes, how do I do that? Thank you for your help.
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 1 year ago.

you should be able to get it out without removing the window,,but i will give you the window procedure,,
