How do you change low pressure Ac line, 2006 Put
JA: How is the air flow? Have you checked the hoses?
Customer: PT cruiser

Customer: No leaks, dye in system, acts as if orifice tube clogged

hi there,

im cam, a licenced diagnostic tech and a 20 year ac tech.
have you checked or replaced your expansion valve in your system?

this is the item that controls your flow to your evap core and converts the high pressure to low.

these are a high failure rate

the only reason to replace the suction line is if it is leaking

as for your low pressure lines question.

there are no low pressure lines that connect to the condensor.

there is a discharge line that goes from the compressor to the condensor and then there is the liquid line that goes from the condensor to the expansion block valve.

if this is the line you are talking about replacing than you must remove the upper rad support to access it.

even with this removed, it will be tight as there is not much room to work in when it comes to pt cruisers, as im sure youve found out.

there is no orfice tube inline with this liquid line. these do not use this type of system
