What is the fix? I had communication with Ron @ just answer.

What is the fix? I had communication with Ron @ just answer. He recommended replacing gauge cluster... Still does not work.2001 Sebring convertible electrical issues.
1). Gauges on dash stopped working suddenly...maybe after washing engine compartment.
2). Convertible top does not go up. When car running, power top motor runs in down direction when transmission is shifted into Drive and Reverse.
3). New gauge cluster installed, but no change.
4). When drivers doors is open, odometer shows mileage, but turns off when door closes.
5). Disconnected battery for hour to reset system, but no change.
6). Tried module reset, but not functional.
What else could there be? Computer?
