If it's falling at the end of the closing cycle it's because the weight of the top is overcoming hydraulic resistance. The most likely cause would be low fluid.

After the cylinders were replaced and fluid added, did you cycle the top 10-15 times checking the fluid level regularly and have ensured that it is full now?

Will check with my mechanic who installed new cylinders and ensure if installation followed your procedure
of 10-15 cycles of raising/lowering top while checking fluid level.
