Customer Question

Chrysler sebring touring 2004 drove to get gas and then will not start not krank nothing happens. On the dashboard all P R N D 1 lights are on . Used a different key, same problem. Stuck.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: AAA came and blame the starter. Battery is new and charged. There is gas in the car. Tried to play with the shift back and forth couple of times, did not help. Disconnected and reconnected the negative pole of the battery , nothing helped.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Chrysler Mechanics generally expect a deposit of about $16 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You may have a couple different things going on.

The PRNDL display may be lit up solid because of an implausible signal from the transmission range sensor. The problem could be the range sensor itself or wiring.

The powertrain control module may not be awake. The PCM is the module that controls all engine functions including controlling the starter relay.

Have you checked fuses?

When the key is turned on does the fuel pump run?
