My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question had not received a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.

In most cases this is a difficult task to get to the hood release to open it manually then re attach the cable.I say this as in allot of cases I have had to dissasemble or break away the front grille to access the hood latch to then open it manually.

You can try using a long flat blade screw driver to see if you can access and trip the latch release to open the hood then re attach the cable but in most cases the grille has to be broken out, then once the hood opened and cable re attached the grille replaced.

The other option is to contact a lock smith to see if he/she can access and release the hood latch with their tools and tricks but with all the ones I have done and seen done myself it isnt an easy task and sometimes requires breaking out of the grille to access the latch itself then the damaged components repaired or replaced.
