2005 CHRYSLER Sebring Touring has thumping like sound when driving and turning in both directions, please help.

There is a recall on your car concerning the steering knuckle, it may have been damaged during the manufacturing process. Have you had this recall 04V579000 performed. Another area of concern on your car is the lower control arms and the outer tie rod ends

No I haven't had recall performed my steering is fine as far as î can tell no sounds when turning wheel. I recently had a tire rod replaced and tire rotated along with alignment by Firestone and that's when I started hearing sound

You need to return the car to them immediately, if the noise started after that, they could have left something loose. I recommend take car to them and then have your recall performed. Its free
