I have a 2002 Chrysler Voyager and the heat does not work.

Customer Question

I have a 2002 Chrysler Voyager and the heat does not work. The air cond works fine. I have replaced the heater core, blow motor and faceplate that change the cold to heat. I can't afford to keep buying parts I don't need, what else could it be? Thanks so much.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

You could have a broken blend door or failed blend door actuator, or the problem may be cooling system related. If the coolant is low or there is air in the system from not being bled properly then you will have poor or no heat. If the engine isn't reaching operating temperature then you also will have poor or no heat.

Does the engine reach normal operating temperature and stay there?

Are both heater hoses at the firewall too hot to comfortably hold and is there a temperature difference between the two?
