I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, When I drive through 4 to 5

Customer Question

I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica , When I drive through 4 to 5 inches of water (slow) I temporarily loose my power steering. Don't know why. Some Mechanics say that water has splashed up onto my serpentine belt causing it to slip. I am 86 year old and owned over twenty cars in my life time and driven over a million miles and never had this happen.

Hello I will help you with your question,

Is the vehicle new to you or have you had it since new? If since new have you had work done to the right front area such as engine work, axle work or something where they would have left the water shield off?
