Hello and thank you for your question,

Are you having this problem while driving down the road or are you revving it while in park or nuetrual?

While in park
Expert:  Ron replied 1 year ago.

The computer system is designed to not allow you to over rev the engine with no load on it such as when you are in park or nuetrual to avoid damage to the engine by shutting down the injectors. If you are nor having any loss of power concern while driving the car then this is a normal operation and you do not have a problem.
