Hello and welcome to Justanswer!

There are a few things you may have going on. It could be an idle air control motor issue, but that wouldn't be common on one of these.

If the engine drags down as you come to a stop and kills the engine with the same feel as not pressing the clutch with a manual trans, then the torque converter clutch is staying locked up. this would almost surely be the torque converter itself.

You could have a cooling fan issue. If the cooling fan fails and you come to a stop with the a/c on then a/c compressor load is sometimes enough to kill the engine because of extreme pressures on the high side.

Have you checked for fault codes?
