Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!
Code 48 is for the mode input circuit from the control head. The control head input is received by the body controller and the BCM is what moves the actuators. This code sets when the circuit shorts to ground. This could be the BCM, wiring, and the control head.
No current runs through the blend and mode portions of the control head. Can you explain exactly what you're seeing happen with the control heads?
Where are the replacements coming from?
