How do you remove a starter from a 2001 Sebring coupe, with a 3.0 engine?

You will need to remove the Air Cleaner housing assembly to gain access to the starter mounting bolt.

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Will I need any special tools, do I need to take the air cleaner housing entirely apart, and do you think I would be better off having a professional do this? Also , how long should this take to completely finish this project?

No special tools needed. Most of the housing will need to be removed. Follow the removal steps given in the order stated in the image above. This isn't a bad job for a DIY'er, you should be ok. The labor time guide calls for .9hr (just shy of an hour) to complete the job.
