I just changed the rear rotors and pads on my 2010 Chevy
I just changed the rear rotors and pads on my 2010 Chevy Express 1500 and the emergency brake shoe was a little too big to fit inside of the new rotor. The adjustment was as small as it could be so I filed some off the end of the brake shoe so it fit inside the drum and the drum turned easily. Now when I drive the brake shoe rubs and the rotor heats up. I never use the e-brake and no further adjustment is possible. Should I just file more off or will it wear in? … read more
