I attached a diagram of the 2 actuators that you have. the temperature control is on the left side of the dash and the mode door is on the right side of the dash.

ok, you never said that in your post.

once you find the actuator, remove the 3 screws attaching it to the case and remove the connector. then remove the actuator.

when re installing, it will only go in 1 way. when yo get it re attached, remove the battery cable for 1 minute and re attach. turn the key to the on position for 40 seconds. that will calibrate the actuators.
