Replaced the thermostat and display still shows up engine hot ac off. i was told there is a way to reset it from the cluster.

Yes they are good

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the model/year of your Chevy?

2006 hummer h2

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your H2 yourself? What have you tried so far?

I tried resting it by disconnecting the battery. i tried running it without the t stat. still have the display engine hot ac off.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I have a ac delco t stat in it right now. is there a way to reset the message with out a scanner?

the senors too. i was told there is a way to reset it from the ac cluster by pushing some buttons.

no there is no reset other than disconnecting the battery cables for 5 minutes

if its still displayed what is the engine coolant temp reading ?

Found it its mode defrost and rear defrost press buttons all at once for 10 seconds. Reset ambient air temperature sensor
