Hello I will help,

There are two cooler lines running from the passenger side of the transmission forward to the radiator. It sounds like these are leaking.

What can I do to help you with this?

Are they difficult to find and replace
Chevy Mechanic: George H., ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

It depends on the problem, you need to remove the plate and see exactly what is leaking. The lines only have about 30 psi at most so if a line is rusted out you can cut out the damaged portion and splice in a new section but you have to get an eyeball on it to see the problem.

Will you repair this yourself or do you want a estimate of shop charges?

I’ll know when I get in there. I’ll need clip tool at radiator. flaring tool for metal line. I’m hoping that’s all it is. Are these common tools?
Chevy Mechanic: George H., ASE Certified Technician replied 7 months ago

You can even use a tubing cutter and compression fittings here. It is low pressure. Not like brake lines where you need flares. The radiator ends should be at the cooler and flare nuts.

Let me know what I can do to help

Thanks
