we burned the head light wiring harness , we replaced it checked all bulbs changed out DRL reply,regrounded the harness I still have the left light is very dim on high beam

the drl rely I have hot power on point 30 and common ground on 87 no power with switch on at 85

At the daytime running light relay two pins should have 12v at all times and 1 pin should have ground at all times. Other pin should have nothing and 5th pin should have ground when daytime running lights are activated. Let me know, thanks.

which pins they are numbered I have power at all time on 30 and ground 87 what should 85 ,86 .87a have

Diagram doesn't show what pins are which but two should have power at all times and 1 should have ground at all times. So lets start there.

I found the problem ,it was a bad fuse for DRL and GM made the wiring harness with two blue return wires for the head lights and when we had to wire in the new harness behind the connection I got the two blue wires turn around. there was three wires the same color blue in the same connection harness two for the head lights and one for the wind shield washer motor. With no where warm to work on it , it was a hit and miss finding the problem. good thing I have a good friend that made room in his shop to look at it, its going to get to -10 tonight here in Minnesota
