I have a 2005 chevy tahoe and everything was fine until last night it sounds like I put in new mufflers

Mechanic's Assistant: How many miles are on the car? How has your MPG been lately?

About 192,000. And mpg has been great since we got the oil change

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Tahoe yourself? What have you tried so far?

No haven't tried anything yet was trying to see what I could be so I have been go ogling some stuff but can't find anything

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

So it was and is running fone. The exhaust has just gotten a lot louder?

Thanks, ***** ***** you have had a muffler internal baffle failure or there is a large leak somewhere in the exhaust system at a gasket, joint, or weld that is allowing exhaust to escape from a source other than the tailpipe. Look at the exhaust manifolds all the way to the back of the muffler for black soot that would indicate a leak.
