Customer Question
I did some brake...

I did some brake work on my car. I am trying to bleed them but they won't seem to. They bleed just fine when the car isn't running but when I start it the pedal goes to the floor. How can I get pressure back?

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?

Yes. It's not the battery.

Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?

1999 Chevy Cavalier

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Cavalier yourself? What have you tried so far?

Replaced brake lines (all) and they won't bleed
