Hi Im David, thanks for visiting the site. Do a fuel pressure leak down test. and pull the plugs to see if theyre wet

Hello David, What should the pressure hold at and for how long? Also if it fails does it mean the fuel injectors are faulty?

let me get you the spec

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
Ok thanks.

if it drops to fast then you have 1 or more leaky injectors

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
Would that account for my negative fuel trims?
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
On a cold start I can see all the cylinders are misfiring for about 10-15 seconds.

yes it would cause trims to go way negative

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
Ok I will test that as soon as I'm near it again I will get back with you as soon as I do that.

ok bud

Sorry for the late reply, I did the leak down test. Key on engine off tested at 52 psi. Key off it very very slowly dropled in preasure. Seems like they are not leaky.

sure seems like they are ok.

unfortunately

heres a TSB of interest

Ask Your Own Chevy Question
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
I did read that TSB however, I don't have any of those issues. Only time it ever runs rough is on a cold motor. Once warm it runs and drives as normal.

ok man, not sure what else to check. Ill open this up to the others to see if they an give some insight. please do not reply back or it will take the question off of the board
