Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car?

1994 Chevy1500 Pickup 2-door long tray. I changed IGN Switch 4wks ago worked fine for 2wks. then after starting once I turned off ignition, turned on ignition again , engine turned-over few times and everything went dead - no power to fuses except head lamps and park lamps and horn. I checked all insert-fuses and relays . no power to ignition. What is thee problem-- your advice.

Mechanic's Assistant: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?

No fluctuation -total power loss to ignition switch, no pwr to fuse

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?

Yes. Checked the snap connections at streering column, battery - 12.39 VDC, checked and cleaned battery conn. cleaned engine ground . no pwr to ign switch

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Suspect fusible ling is burnt, but I don't know where it is licated
