Brought it to the dealer twice and still have no power from the truck to my trailer brakes
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: Zero power
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: No, dealer put a new brake controller and plug end on the truck. Still no power to the brakes.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I do not get a trailer connected signal on the information screen.

Have you checked the fuses?

Would a wiring diagram help?

I found two shorts on the trailer. I cut them and wire nutted them so they no longer short out. I can not get the truck to see the trailer still. The trailer has lights but no power to brakes. Is there a way to reset the brake controller? I have checked the fuses, all are good.
