2003 6 cylinder TrailBlazer is difficult to pull uphill at

Customer Question

2003 6 cylinder TrailBlazer is difficult to pull uphill at highway speeds. Seems that it cannot find the right gear and reves high with lack of power/torque
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the brake switch?
Customer: All original 240,000 runs perfect otherwise. Tell me about the brake switch?
JA: Are you fixing your Trailblazer yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Have not touched it. Would do basic repairs myself otherwise would take to a shop
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No
