Hey how are you

We have several possibilities, water pump, radiator , hoses leaking , clogged heater core , radiator fan , blown head gasket etc , we need a coolant pressure tester to pressurize system and check fir leaks ,

did you check coolant level ,where you low ?

did it over heat on you and fgot in the red and drov on it some distance ?

did you pull dipstick ,is the oil milky looking ?

any check engine light flashing on dash ?

how this started ?

lets start here

Please let me know

Thank You

So check engine light IS FLASHING

i m sorry did you mean coolant was low or no ?

i need to be sure ?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
coolant not low Not sure if its flashing.
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 month ago.

The flashing check engine light is a random multiple misfire ,if he keep driving it will do engine and or catalytic exhaust damage if not we need to check radiator fan , belt and at least a coolant pressure tester to look for any leaks when system under pressure

u have to start there ,how was truck driving prior to this and how many miles on it know

and tell little history on prior work done if any

Please let me know

Thank You

Transmission work about a year ago. Changed radiator & fan cluch about year ago as well. Nothing else. This vehicle has serviced up well. I think it has 180,000He told me the other day he burped it. It ran fine for about 5 days after thst
Expert:  Chad Farhat replied 1 month ago.

ask him if he has good heat ,let him turn heat on and let me know

also at idle test heat then let him rev it up ,will he say he gets more heat revved up ,do we have clogged heater core

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
He just got home. Said he burpedvit so to speak & it hasn't ran hot on his edulog home from work
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
On the rest of the way home. He has about a 30 min ride

I would take it in tomorrow , do a coolant flush , replace coolant while they are doing a coolant pressuer tester and then let it run unetil you see clutch fan kick in and make sure we have good heat and we go from there and if possible have it scaned and see if we have fault codes
