Customer Question

I hear a high-pitched sound from the left front wheel, doesn't change when I put on the brakes. Much worse in reverse, sounds more like grinding. '97 Geo Tracker with locking front hubs. Wheel bearings?
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: Sounds like the hub area, started a week or so ago.
JA: Are you fixing your Tracker yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Plan to take it to the dealer, haven't tried anything yet.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No.
