I have a 2002 avalanche is there an adjustment on the steering rack?
I seem to have some play in my wheel.

Hi im kevin there is no adjustment in rack .this is more likely to be that there is play somewhere in the system causing this .the best option is to get soneone to wobble steering wheel whilst inspecting the track rods and coloumn for play

The only way I notice a problem is when driving the wheel seems to sit a bit to the right and or left a few degrees while driving down the road going straight.
The truck has had an alignment recently.

Ok so if you turn the wheel whilst watching wheels how far do you mave steering wheel before wheels react ?
