Chevrolet Repair Questions? Ask a Chevy Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hi welcome to just answers my name is Ricardo. have you check for any codes stored on computer?
does the engine starts? fine and runs fine?
ok if you have a code for glow plug# ***** is possible the injector or the glow plug on that cylinder has a problem have you check the resistance on that glow plug or switch that glow plug to another cylinder see if the code changes with the location
or check the Glow Plug Control Module (GPCM) scan data list for the resistance of the #6 glow plug.A good value will be 0.4 - 0.9 ohms. If greater than spec, check the resistance of the glow plug.If the resistance is out of spec, replace the glow plug.
let me check give me a minute
no recalls or TSB's found that will mach this problem sorry all i found is about having difficulty removing and replacing the glow plugs do to carbon build up.
let me know how that works out relocate the glow plug or check resistance on it see if ok , and also it will help if you scan the computer and give me any codes you find see if you have a P20b9 code and let me know.
no problem good night.
