2000 GMC Savanna short bus, 5.7 vortec, intermittent cold

Customer Question

2000 GMC Savanna short bus, 5.7 vortec, intermittent cold crank no start but motor will quite literally bang here and there while cranking. Replaced starter. Found bulletin for crank sensor and replaced. Fuel pressure 60 psi and holds. Good spark to plug. I can hold the gas pedal down to disable injectors and the banging noise stops until I let off the gas again. I suspected spider injector stuck open but if your try to start with spray banging stops. Running out of ideas and I'm trying to avoid pulling the intake apart unless I can prove it to be necessary.
JA: Does the vehicle stall at low speeds? Does it sputter?
Customer: No. When it starts it runs great
JA: Are you fixing your Savana yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: How do I talk to a real person?
JA: Are you saying I'm not real?
Customer: It's 2017 who knows anymore
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Aren't I supposed to pay for this?

What is the fuel pressure with the engine not running, ignition switch in the run position and how long will it hold that pressure?
