JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact code? And have you tried to reset it?

JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2002 2500hd silverado
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes myself. Front bumper impact sensor, air bag passenger on/off switch. Info if I turn the passenger switch off the airbag light goes out.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I dunno your skill level but you will need to check and verify voltages with a volt meter and do some tests

Its either a switch, module, wiring or ground issue, clockspring is out of the running on this one , most reported fixes was the module

Here is the whole removal process from chevy, and yes it could be a connector, you have to be super careful when checking this thing

Ok need some clarity is there two modules ? one under each seat or do I only have one under the drivers seat? HMMM i did recently remove my customer seat cover and put them back in. ??
