1999 tahoe security light on. Has refused to start. Replaced

Customer Question

1999 tahoe security light on. Has refused to start. Replaced main module, crank position sensor and crank position sensor. Mechanic reset the system. How can I find out the proper key to have made. Nothing is marked on my key.
JA: Does the light flash, blink or stay solid? Have you tried to reset the security system?
Customer: Solid. Have reset the system.
JA: Are you fixing your Tahoe yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: See first post. Also on 10 minutes, off, on 10, off, on 10
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I want to have the right key made

Hi, I'm Ron and I will be helping you today.
Stand by for a moment while I prepare your answer.

Expert:  rpmdiag replied 2 months ago.

I attached all the information you will need for this, plus, a lock smith may also be able to correct all of this for you too.

Please understand that I don't know your skill level or tools you
have to assist us. Also understand that I can't see, smell, hear, or
touch the vehicle either, so your patience is appreciated. JA is a
great Q/A site, but it does not replace a repair shop. So please
don’t shoot the messenger if I have to deliver bad news:)
If you are satisfied with my answer, I would greatly appreciate a 5
star rating now and I will still assist you after you have rated me
too if another question pops up. I don’t get credit for helping you
until you rate me.
Thanks again, Ron
