2007 Chevy Tahoe AC Not...
2007 Chevy Tahoe AC Not working1. ECM Programed2. Checked the green power connection wire to the compressor and there is no power.3. If I connect the AC straight via relay the compressor will come on and AC will work.What have Changed-4. Change compressor, Climate control, dryer, upper and lower pressure switch and still not working.5. Checked the Orange and black wire on the lower switch and the ground is over 12v. Reading showing Over 76v which showing the ECM sending too much ground.6. Upper pressure switch ground reading 12.47. I trace the orange and black ground wire from the lower pressure switch to the ECM and grounds reads the same.8. Refrigerant level is good but can still check.9. I removed the Fuse box under the hood and spared out with corrosion spray10. I checked and the fuses and all are good HVAC Fuse-38, AC Compressor Fuse-17, HVAC Blower Fuse-73, AUX HVAC Fues-49, HVAC IGN Fuse-55.--

any access to a high end scan tool to monitor live data and to be able to command on the ac relay ?

I don't have any high tech tool just a normal engine check reader

with the ac relay out and the key ON do 2 out of the 4 terminals in the box show 12 volts ?

ok, did you verify power to fuse 17 with the ac turned on???

use your voltmeter on both sides of the fuse

I did and there is power in the 2 bottom holes

ok

if you have power at fuse 17 on both sides, then that wire goes directly to the ac compressor. you should have power to the compressor.

are you sure you checked power at the fuse?? you also indicated you checked the relay with the last tech

Hey Roy I'm really sorry I thought you were asking me to do the same thing the other technician ask earlier so in 17 there's no power but in the relay side there is power in both

ok, thats what I thought.

the pcm grounds the relay to turn on the compressor based on the inout signal from the pressure sensor.

do you have 5 volts at the pressure sensor???
