Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 4 months ago.

is it leaking at the pump or the steering gear box?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
It's hard to tell i think the pump fluid is being sprayed or it's my fan blowing it everywhere
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 4 months ago.

ok.

did you check the return line
?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I replaced both hoses return and pressured
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 4 months ago.

ok.

if you are sure it isnt leaking from the hoses..i would think it is leaking around the shaft of the pump just behind the pulley..

it sounds as if you may have a blown seal in that pump and you may just want to replace the pump

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Ok would you know about how much a shop would charge to replace the pump
Expert:  Tim's Auto Repair replied 4 months ago.

an independent shop may charge $75+/- to replace..the pump should cost around $60+/-

thanks
