Had a bad lifter and damaged camshaft. Dealer replaced all lifters and new cam.. Truck has a miss when idiling only when it's warmed up to normal temperature( usually after driving a few miles ---2006 silverrado 4.5 130,000 miles
JA: How many miles are on the car? Have you checked the coolant level?
Customer: 130,000 miles and coolant was replaced during the dealer repair
JA: What is the model of your '06 Chevy?
Customer: silverado 1500 lt
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no i guess i will return to the shop I picked up just two days ago.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

i am not repairing i am just looking for ideas

either a valve thats sticking olr a injector or ignition coil....if its a miss driving it will trip a engine code to help narrow down the failure

well it runs great while driving just a miss at stop lights etc.

we are.... if its a miss the ecm will see it and it will trip a miss fire code

missfires are normally primary ignition failure...plugs or ignition coil...but it can also be a failing injector or a internal issue...
