The other very cold morning I went to start my 2008 Chevy

Customer Question

The other very cold morning I went to start my 2008 Chevy Uplander and started right up. I went inside to let it warm up for about 10-15 minutes. I came out to a dead van. The hazards lights were blinking on and off, the wipers had been going, the locks were going up and down, etc. Like the van was possessed. So my husband checked it out and put in a new alternator. It started up. He drove it around. Next morning (again another below zero morning) same thing. Started right up. Left to let it warm. Came out to a dead/possessed van. Help!
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Do you know if there is power to the wiper motor?
Customer: Not sure. I don't know if my husband checked them
JA: Are you fixing your Uplander yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: So far, just replacing the alternator.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I don't think so.
