Wiper motor is behaving eratically, Yes, not the fuse,

Customer Question

Wiper motor is behaving eratically
JA: Have you checked the fuses? Do you know if there is power to the wiper motor?
Customer: Yes, not the fuse, replaced the pulse module, not that either...
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: On seemingly cold days, they don't come on, yet some times (some times) I hear a groan like the motor is running - sort of 1991 S-10 Blazer However, when I yank on the wiper, sometimes it starts up, and then runs perfectly fine. Until tomorrow, etc. when it craps out again
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yep - fuse, wiper pulse module
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Went to NAPA to bite the bullt and get a replacement motor and the washer quit on the way... turned around, went home and put 12 volts on the washer connector and voila it worked Hooked it back up again and then the washe was fine (???)

Do you have a voltmeter to do some testing?
