2011 duramax. starting stalling while towing horse trailer.

2011 duramax. starting stalling while towing horse trailer. took to dealership- they said crank shaft sensor and replaced. i just got it back and JUST made it into the parking lot at work-- 2 miles-- and it died
JA: Does the vehicle stall at low speeds? Does it sputter?
Customer: traveling at around 65/70 when it happened the first time. they test drove it on the highway, so same mph. the road back to my work is 40mph
JA: What is the model of your '11 Chevy?
Customer: 2500hd
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: the dealership "fixed" it. i just picked it up from them although, it's not fixed chevy dealership
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I'm don't have a clue

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If they replaced the crank sensor I'm assuming it was because they found a crank sensor signal or circuit fault code had set. If so and the sensor didn't fix it then you most likely have a wiring or connection isue.

Have you checked for fault codes since the last time the problem happened?
